Used Ross twice now for 2 extensions at different properties. Ross took time to really understand our goals and drivers for more space, light and a modern set up. Both projects have been first class with excellent communication throughout. Would highly recommend if you’re thinking about a new project.

We used JV Carroll as the architects for our garage conversion. They delivered a highly professional service, helping us to rapidly progress the plans and building warrant applications in a short time scale ahead of the start of the works. Ross and the team are very approachable and knowledgeable, giving us good advice and support throughout the process. I would definitly use JV Carroll again for another small project or on a larger project!

We had a difficult project in centre of Aberdeen, a modern extension on the house and it was impossible to find an architect who wants our project. Passing a really nice and modern house in town, we decided to stop and ask them directly their architect and this is how we found out about J V Carroll. After an initial consultation, Ross found the project interesting and very challenging and was happy to defend it, saying that it will be a hard process but he was confident that it could be achieved without over promising. Definitely it was a long and difficult process but Ross was, seems to be, all the time one step in advance on all the defending lines. The planning office rejected totally our project but he had already prepared the appeal at front and it was a proper appeal defending each negative point from the planning office. He managed to obtain planning permission for our project without compromise on our design. We would recommend J V Carroll to anybody who needs a professional architect

I would highly recommend J V Carroll. They drew up Building Warrant plans for alterations to our house. Within 3 months Building Warrant was approved without any problems. Ross is very thorough, provided an excellent service and couldn't have been nicer.
