Learner 2 Licence Driving School Aberdeen

Due to moving cities multiple times I had a turbulent time with driving lessons, but when I moved to Aberdeen a close friend reccommended Alun to me. Alun is an absolutely brilliant instructor - he was patient and worked hard to explain things to me in a way that I would understand which I really appreciated. He used a tablet to virtually demonstrate the maneouvres first before trying them out with me, which I found immensely helpful, and he also kept track of progress with structured notes taken at the of each lesson and revisited at the beginning of each lesson. It really helped to have my whole driving journey broken down into goals like this that made me fear driving a little less. I ended up passing my driving test first time with only 5 minors - not bad! I passed back in March, and since then I have had to use a car for my job and have been driving around in Glasgow (I moved cities again!) and I actually feel confident on the roads, even doing long drives by myself which when I was a learner felt impossible to do. I was really close to giving up driving up altogether but Alun's gentle encouragement really made me believe that I could do it - annd I guess he was right!

Alun is a quick-witted, patient and humble driving instructor. He explains the theories and basics of driving clearly and plans each lesson so it’s easy to understand and you’re set up for success. I passed my theory and practice first time, and feel confident as a 1 day old driver to drive around the highlands. Thanks Alun!

Alun is an excellent, friendly instructor. He explained all topics very well and lessons were always planned, he is very patient and calm on lessons even when mistakes are made. Lessons were always on time and relaxed which has made me a safe and confident driver, I would highly recommend Alun to anyone looking to learn to drive! Alun is an excellent instructor who caters lessons to help learn in the easiest way and is patient and supportive. All lessons are well planned and structured, the notes Alun takes mean you never feel lost or overwhelmed and every lesson you can see the progress being made. Alun's lessons made me feel confident to drive and I would highly recommend him.
