Holiday Inn Express Aberdeen City Centre, an IHG Hotel

Stayed here for 2 days at last week . Prime location and lots of places nearby to try good and variety foods. Rooms are neat and clean but felt a bit hot. Free parking is only limited to maximum 10 cars at the backside , but the city center parking is nearby, over night parking is free over there. The restaurant is congested at the prime time and you may need to wait outside to find a seat , also the items are average. I could say there are many times missing from the English breakfast. Staffs are cooperative but the check in process is a bit slow especially if couple of people are in front of you , most of the time they operate with one staff at the reception.

Excellent location, great rooms, fantastic shower and a surprisingly awesome breakfast. Only two minor complaints- change your free shower gel & shampoo - noone wants to smell like salad! And ran out of juice every day at breakfast. Otherwise - definitely recommend 👌

I have had many a good stay at this hotel this year. We are always made so welcome by the staff. Our dogs are always welcome as they are well behaved. Rachel has gone above and beyond to help us anytime we are there. See you next time guys

I stayed for three days. This is what I liked about the hotel. It's nice, clean and sweet. The receptionists are nice and lovely to deal with. As a family, we were received and treated well. Breakfast is very nice and is served at the breakfast room. You have all sorts of choices. You can have fruits of all sorts. THE SHOWER ROOM AND TOILET are ❣️💓. This is my best part of the room. The beds are very comfortable and even the sofa bed was 💤🤙. This is what I didn't like. The nice receptionist when we came in should have asked us if we wanted assistance to use the key fob to our room. I wasn't familiar with using this card fobs to open the door to my room. We're stacked behind our door for minutes until another neighbour came to help. The toilet roll holder in our room kept falling off. Well this wasn't their fault, but on Fridays and Saturdays night till 2.30 3.00am, it can be noisy outside. A VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE I had was that, the steam and scent suckers or vents did not work. One receptionist told me that that is how they worked. 6 hours after pooping and the scent is still in the nice toilets...!! I really didn't enjoy that part. I wish at least that part of the toilet would be sorted. When you put on the light to the toilet, the vents are to be active not passive.
