Mercure Aberdeen Caledonian Hotel

The hotel was lovely, reception and maintenance services second to none. only down side was listening to the barman tell every customer during dinner (starting at 5.30pm) and later drinks (10pm to closing) ,how terrible he was feeling, and how he was on his own. by 10.45pm, he even refused a guest an espresso martini , with an abrupt "no" not at this time of night!

Gorgeous hotel rooms amazing with great views. bed and bedding spotless and pillows very comfortable bars area lovely tea and coffee served when required. dinner and breakfast amazing. great location central and within walking distance to town centre shops and bus station

The hotel is excellent and rooms were amazing but staff were racist. we were 15min late for breakfast and they were extremely rude about it and when they finally let us eat, they had a lot of attitude and just slammed the egg on the table without saying a word. we are indians and we took a bit personally and i have never felt so mistreated. otherwise the other staff in the reception were extremely nice and welcoming. but i do not think i will visit again.

I visited here at the end of january 2023, this is an absolute fantastic hotel in the heart of aberdeen! check in/out experience was smooth & the suite i stayed in was simply outstanding. one of the best hotel rooms i've ever stayed in. i cannot wait to come back, amazing customer service. amazing venue, fives all around.
