Rendezvous | Nargile

Food was good but having tried the more traditional versions of the dishes at the other Nargile in the city, these ones felt a bit bland. The setting was good and service excellent. But we missed the dishes we have tried and admired at the other restaurant.

This was our first experience in a Turkish restaurant and we were looking forward to it. The staff couldn't be nicer and more attentive, so top score for the service. Being the first experience it sounded good to go for the banquet which promised a variety of tasting starters, mains and desserts. Every sharing plate was flavourful and fresh, but as a whole the banquet feels overpriced per person, as the plates are really small, and when it comes to the desserts they present one of each miniatures that are almost impossible to share. We will definitely give Turkish food another chance but probably not here.

The food is excellent. We choose the banquet and that is enough. Some recent reviews say that the portions are small. That is not our experience. Either the restaurant enlarged them or the other reviewers are used to enormous portions. Recommended!

Guys. I'm begging you. Go. Here. Hands down the best meal I've had (apart from my mother's cooking, of course). Photos really don't do this justice. Just go. What are you waiting for???!! Thank me later (or rather, thank the chef later).

Lovely place, nice staff and really nice food. This is a nice little place not a huge amount of seating so book in advance from Thursday to Sunday. It's a simple menu but it has the classics and it's really tasty. The portions are not huge so I do recommend a starter + salad and main or main + pudding.
