Delightful peaceful space, but poor labelling, and intergrowth of plants. labels great in terms of latin and formal names but it would be helpful if common everyday names were also included. didn't see any aid in any ( modern) foreign language... i had german band french guests.
Lovely peaceful garden with some interesting plants. i like that they are leaving areas wild for nature which is far more beneficial than immaculately manicured grass. feels very under utilised and free.
Stunning oasis of calm, beautifully planted in different zones. an absolute hidden gem in old aberdeen.
A hidden gem of secret aberdeen. our trip here on one of hottest days of the year was an absolute joy. this well kept and luxurious garden really stands alone especially in comparison with the cities other green spaces. with continual council cuts many of aberdeens traditional gardens have been left to decay and many have really deteriorated over recent years. fortunately with cruickshank being run by the university this is just not the case. from the sense overloaded herb garden to the many water features, there are a wide range of flowers, plants, some familiar, many not, that will interest and provoke joy from anyone who visits. thank you to all the staff who make this botanic garden such a joy to visit, you are enhancing people's life's. ten outta ten
Beautiful little piece of peace right in old aberdeen. it's enjoyable and there is lots to see if you enjoy nature. no entry fee and not too many people. i can recommend it.
