The Old Schoolhouse

Arrived at the schoolhouse got drink and food ordered also asked for a bowl of water for the dog on a hot day. We waited for at least 25 minutes for our to food to arrive. My fish was very gresey yes I know it's in a fryer and fish was a bit mushy but ate it all as I was starving. After we finished our food the dog water bowl arrived. I forgot to mention but the gents toilets didn't smell great and had alot of water on the ground at least I hope it was water. Won't be back sadly.

Good atmosphere, staff friendly and brilliant food. There is plenty of drinks to choose from at a reasonable price. Lots of big screens to watch the football from and anywhere you sit you are able to watch the TVs. A pub suitable for various age groups with a relaxing environment.

Nice and roomy sports pub, with nice outdoor-area, as weel. Crowded on football night! But nice to be there when Scotland beat Norway!

Always love it here! It's had a few changes in its time since I've been going, but always feels familiar. Staff are always good and there are enough different drinks to satisfy most taste pallets. 2 pool tables there now too if you want a game of pool and can pay cash or card for that! Can book out sections if you have any parties/celebrations! Come the warmer weather there is a good sized beer garden which normally gets packed quickly when sun peeks out!

This is one of my favourite pubs in town. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, you really cannot fault them. The menu is good for pub grub, and service is always timely 👍🏻 It’s best to book for any big sports event as it has an amazing atmosphere.
