I contacted this company due to a guttering issue with my property. On first appearance, they were great an we arranged a time for the property to be viewed. They never showed up. I contacted them to rearrange and no-one ever got back to me.

There were many unsatisfactory elements of the work including attempted overcharging for materials, long unplanned breaks in the work with no prior notification, internal flooding and other damage, poor site management, and an overall poor customer service attitude. The final quality of the roof is excellent, although no guarantees have been forthcoming, and we have been left to sort out damage. The original quote in no way reflected the final bill.

We (unfortunately) employed Aberroof to fix a small leak in our roof. They diagnosed the problem as skews needing replacement. Long story short, they replaced the skews and also did some pointing on the walls. All of the work they carried out leaked, causing extensive damage to our property. We asked Louise (proprietor) to urgently rectify the problem, which she refused to do. We pursued her through the Sheriff Court and won without any difficulty. To support our claim, we had the work inspected by an independent Chartered Surveyor, who had never seen such poor workmanship. Don’t be like us, do your due diligence and don’t use this company. If you are in dispute with Aberroof following shoddy work, I encourage you report them to Trading Standards, who will only act following multiple complaints. I also encourage you to take legal advice and claim through the Sheriff Court.

Follow on from my review below, AberRoof did not come & replace my garage roof or re-do the harling, I had to pay another company to carry out the work. I have now submitted a small claim through the courts in the hope to get my money back from AberRoof. I cannot stress enough to EVERYONE, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER So an update on the below, it has now been almost 4 months since I contacted AberRoof. As per my comments below they were full of promises the work would be rectified within the following 2 weeks. I can now let everyone know that it still hasn’t been fixed. I have lost count of the amount of times I’ve been told someone will be here at 8am the next day only for them not to turn up. The damage to my garage roof is now quite extensive & getting worse by the day. 4 years ago I had the flat roof on my garage replaced & the Harling re-done. Unfortunately the roof is leaking & there are a few issues with the Harling. I contacted AberRoof & they came out straight away & have agreed to replace the roof & rectify all issues with the Harling. Very please with this outcome
