Charter Table Table

Nothing but good things to say about this place. this was my first visit. upon arrival it was very quiet and the staff were welcoming. i ordered chicken goujons as a starter and they were really good!! i ordered burger which again was delicious. the waitress was lovely food came out quickly and we all had a very good evening. if in the area again i’d definitely go back!

We kept getting forgotten by waiting staff, had to remind staff passing us when we wanted drinks, ready to order mains then pudding and had to wait for the bill. we arrived at 14:55 and left at 16:40 after ordering 2 mains and 2 desserts. 1hr 45mins shows the time it took for service and food. it wasn't that busy, staff more interested in talking by bar and on phones. however, food was nice.

When i visited it was very quiet but none the less the service was very good. some of the menu was not available unfortunately meaning i had to change my order, so ended up with a hunters chicken style meal, i added an extra breast which i’m pleased i did because i felt portion size lacked a bit - a few more chips wouldn’t of hurt! however the chicken was very well cooked, very juicy /tasty, as was the bacon and cheese. there’s a large car park directly outside.

Don't know what has happened here lately but it seems they can't get orders right. burger sent back twice as wrong order. and steak which should have been well done . well a good vet would have brought it back to life. i would say raw in middle . will b thinking very seriously about going back there .

They say that some of their pies are award winning. i can belive that, unfortunately we had the one that wasn't. mixed results, steak and burger good, fish reheated and just not great. nice people, overall adequate.
