We have been working with Chris and his team for the past 5 years, as we have set about renovating our Victorian house in Wilstone. Our house restoration has thrown many challenges and surprises at us along the way and Chris has been brilliant at helping us work out the best electrical solution for each room. Chris fitted a new electric hob for us which involved some rewiring and some creative problem solving. Chris' team were very professional, responsive and careful about cleaning up afterwards. We will definitely use Chris again and would recommend him for any electrical work.

Chris came to investigate a problem with my solar panels. He quickly identified where the problem was located, and arranged a date and time to return with a colleague to resolve the issue. The issue was resolved and the panels are all working perfectly. A very good team, professional and very neat and tidy.

Chris rewired my whole house as part of a home improvement project. The level of quality and detail in his workmanship was just first class. C R James were asked to provide a car charger and associated work for that to be safe and efficient. We live in an older house and the circuits required tests and upgrades for that to happen. They worked according to the schedules of the energy companies and they provided a first class service. Both Chris and Lewis were very polite and made sure that they cleaned up all the “mess” from the job, including vacuuming up all the dust and debris. Everything was discussed and agreed before the job started and communication was excellent. All we had to provide were occasional tea and biscuits. We would highly recommend C R James for any electrical work especially for fitting EV charging.
