Mel is so friendly and helpful. She had so many good ideas for our wedding and was always ready to help with planning and organising our big day. We loved how quickly Mel responded to our questions or any issues that came up and it was reassuring having her there on the day, even going the extra mile to blow up our balloons and help me with my buttonhole! Thoroughly recommended!

From the moment I spoke to Mel I knew I wanted her to be our wedding planner. Mel is down to earth, honest, absolutely lovely and SO organised! Mel made our day so special and expertly navigated my often eclectic ideas (plastic flamingos and gold disco balls?!?) and my meltdowns over table candle colours (sorry Mel!) Mel had everything organised down to the tiniest detail and was absolutely amazing on the day too. She absolutely went above and beyond and now its all over I miss our wedding planning catch ups! Thank you Mel!!

Mel was great to work with for our Jan 2023 wedding. It was a destination wedding for us& our guests having it in the UK which brought it's own challenges (estimating numbers, invites all over the world, different traditions to incorporate, etc) but the weekend turned out wonderfully. We had events before and after the wedding (bridal lunch, welcome drinks, and farewell brunch) and the whole weekend was beautiful. We couldn't have done it without her!

Where do I start with the wonderful Mel. Seamless from start to finish. I can honestly say she is a joy to work with and her attention to detail is spot on. There was never an awkward moment and very approachable. Mel is down to earth, genuine and a very hard working lady. Mel is by fast one of the best wedding planners I have had the privilege to work with within the wedding industry. Her understanding of time lines and on site coordination on the day is 100%. This is a super important skill to have when working with big scale events! Her mood boards and proposals are realistic to the clients vision and executed on the day to perfection. She is very clear to her suppliers as to what is required. However, she is also very good at listening to her wedding suppliers recommendations when it regards her clients best interests. I cant recommend Mel enough and hope that we will have the opportunity to work together again soon on another awesome event together. Thank you for everything Much Love Chrissy xx

Working with Melanie at Your Story Events was an absolute dream! We live in the USA and desperately needed help with planning our wedding in England. She helped us with vendors and every other little and big thing that goes into planning a wedding. From the very beginning, she made the entire process so easy and stress-free. She was always available to answer any questions we had and provided us with helpful suggestions and recommendations throughout the entire planning process. Melanie is also the sweetest and kindest person. Double bonus there! One thing that really stood out to us was how Melanie helped us stay organized and on track with all of our deadlines. She kept us on schedule and made sure we didn't forget any important details. On the wedding day, we all felt completely calm and relaxed knowing that our wedding planner had everything under control. She took care of all the little details so that we could just enjoy our special day with our loved ones. The entire day was so seamless and beautiful! If there was any issue, we didn’t know about it.
