Essence Acupuncture

When recommending Kate I always say ‘Everyone needs a Kate’ ! You just can’t explain why until you have an appointment and she alleviates your symptoms. My first appointment with her was for nothing in particular, general feeling low, aches and pains, zero motivation and feeling hormonal. Kate is so genuinely lovely. She listens and ‘gets it’ and then starts passionately talking about acupuncture points in Chinese medicine (at this point I have no idea what she’s talking about but don’t care because it works !!). I’v been seeing Kate for 2 years now and tend to just turn up for my appointment and say how I’m feeling at that point and she gets going. It’s when she reads her notes back to me and says, what about that shoulder pain you had last time? And I realise that she’s cured me ! She has treated trapped nerves for me, hip problems, lower back pain as well as my energy levels, sleeping patterns, hot flushes and mental health such as low mood, motivation and stress. I thank my lucky stars Kate came into my life…she has made it so much better. 🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟

I have Been having regular treatment with Kate for the past 12 months due to having back and shoulder pain . I had been prescribed pain painkillers to help me however these didn’t seem to work . After visiting Kate and talking through my issues I can honestly say the acupuncture and cupping have both done me wonders . Kate is very professional and really friendly and I feel really at ease with her . I would highly recommend Kate for anyone suffering with any aches and pains . A friend had been successfully treated for hay-fever by acupuncture so I contacted Kate to ask if it would help treat asthma and joint problems. Kate was friendly and professional. She explained her treatments, acupuncture and cupping and that she regularly also massages. She also explained some problems may need longer treatment than others. Kate was very reassuring as I was a bit nervous at the thought of needles, which were no problem, and at acupuncture which was new to me. This was 3 years ago and in that time her treatments have made a huge improvement to my health. I have had treatment as needed, occasionally at short notice for pain relief. Additionally I badly damaged one foot and Kates treatment was brilliant, as well as the actual treatments she was very supportive. Recently I have had acupuncute and massage for some stomach issues which have now improved. Kate is very calm, provides a relaxed and professional atmosphere. She always clearly explains things, is very approachable. I fully recommend her.

I contacted Kate after having a full knee replacement and was struggling with stairs and lack of sensation. After just a few sessions I was able to move better. I still have monthly appointments with Kate as the treatments are second to none. Kate also treated me with acupuncture after having covid which helped immediately. I would highly recommend Kate.

Kate, is just amazing. She is very professional and makes me feel so relaxed. I have had treatments for an array of ailments and each time I feel fantastic after. I can not recommend her enough.
