Sunday lunch was lovely, but you really don’t need a starter as you do get plenty for your main, starter i had was jack daniel chicken and was a bit overpowered by the southern fried chicken taste, would highly recommend as it does have a lovely feel and staff are so friendly

Service, food and staff all amazing. we’ll definitely be back! special thanks to the staff who helped us discover more about the history of the building. you can definitely tell they love and care about the site which was so wonderful to know such a precious piece of history is in great hands.

Came from the us for 2 weeks and would have to say the best meal i’ve had on this trip. the chicken shawarma was amazing. everything i had was great. everyone we came with enjoyed it a lot. the place looks amazing and the history was so rich and interesting. i would highly recommend and looking forward to coming back on our next trip.

My family and i had an amazing meal this evening. despite being short staffed the proprietor took time to come and chat to us as he took our order explaining that we would have to bare with him as this wasn't his normal role. its a family run restaurant with mum behind the bar and the daughter waitressing the food was amazing. unfortunately i live down south so won't be a regular visitor. when i come up north to visit family i will hopefully come again
