Best Behaviour K9

We were desperate for our sessions with K9 as our 8 month old GSD male pup pulls on the lead and is extremely reactive. We live around 90 minutes away from the academy and it was well worth the drive! We had a half day session with Neil and a 90 minute session with Pia before that to provide us with some tips on engagement. The hand feeding suggested by Pia really helped with the engagement process. The session with Neil was superb. His knowledge of what motivates dogs and how to manage their behaviour is second to none. In particular, we felt that his understanding and experience with GSDs was invaluable. He was patient with us. He provided us with a good understanding of the theory and then demonstrated this to us so we knew exactly what to do. We bought a slip lead having used one in the session and it has changed our experience when going on walks overnight. The combination of the right lead and consistent commands means we now have very little if any pulling and virtually no reactions. If Louis does have the odd slip, he just needs a quick reminder and he self corrects. I cannot believe it's the same dog! We still have work to do to make sure that Louis' behaviour is always consistent but we couldn't recommend Best Behaviour K9 more highly! We are looking forward to doing some of the specialist courses on scent work or obedience in the future.

Neil came to carry out a one to one training session with my 2 litter sisters who had started to fight resulting in one dog needing surgery on 2 occasions since December. He totally changed my girls and us as a as a family. His help as prevented us from having to make some difficult decisions. 100% recommend K9

So far our journey is incredible, Neil is so understanding of both me and my dog and they're so worth the money. I can't wait to see how my dog grows with more training.

I would like to thank Neil and his team , Maisie and myself attended the puppy classes to start with the trainer Laura and recently a one to one lessons again with Laura ,To help me understand Maisie’s adolescent behaviour. Neil dropped in on the lesson, in which i learnt that it was my understanding of what Maisie needed from myself that was the main issue This was expertly demonstrated to me ,now Maisie and myself are moving forward again with the knowledge and guidance and training aids (videos & training notes)given by the team at Best Behaviour K9 , Many thanks Maisie & melv

At the time of writing my pup has only had two one to one sessions and he has come on leaps and bounds already. Enough so I am willing to give a 5 star rating before his classes are finished. We started on loose leash walking yesterday and having just come back from Elwoods first walk after the lesson he is already walking so much better. I would strongly recommend booking in with best behaviour.
