Helping Hands Home Care Barnsley

I have worked with a few homecare providers in the past and I have just started with Helping Hands. I felt part of the team from day one,the support ,training and induction I have received has been great.The manager is friendly and approachable . The customers speak highly of Helping Hands and how having Helping Hands as their provider has changed their lives for the better, they feel confident about the care that they are receiving. The carers that I have had the pleasure to work with so far speak highly of the company, management and they have also been supportive. Kindness if the foundation and so far I have found the foundation to be solid! Great care company .

I recently started working as a carer for Helping hands and I couldn’t recommend this company enough. I was brand new to care and the support and very in depth training I have received from both my manager and the care coordinator really has been amazing. They are very devoted to there team and are always on hand day or night if you need them. It is 100% clear that they really do care about there customers and provide a top quality service each time. I am very exited and greatfull to be working alongside the best team and I can’t wait to see where my helping hands journey takes me.

I recently started working for Helping hands as the branch Manager for the new Barnsley branch. From the moment i stepped through the door i was made to feel welcome and part of the team or should that be family! The values that they hold are close to my heart. Caring, passionate with kindness as the foundation. The support i have had in my new role has been tremendous and i couldn't have asked for more. I am honoured to have joined such a great care company who genuinely care about their customers and staff!

HI I am Steve the Coordinator here at Helping Hands Barnsley. I have been with the company since December 20. I have read the comments from a couple of the care staff remarking on the level of training and support that they receive. Yes we do invest so much in our care staff, without you guys on the front line we are nothing. I would also like to add; the training and support we as office staff receive from higher management is also second to none. I have worked for a few care companies in the past, but never one that invests so much in their staff. A great company to work for.

I have recently started as an Care Assistant with Helping Hands Barnsley and wanted to share my review of my past few weeks with the company. I agree that the training is second to none. I have never worked in care before but feel well supported, the learning is comprehensive and the office door is always open. I'm able to ask any question without feeling like it was a silly question. This investment in training and help offered by our managers is reflected in all the support given in customers homes and is truly caring. I can't wait to continue my journey. If my family needed home care, I would choose Helping Hands.
