Holiday Inn Barnsley M1, JCT.37, an IHG Hotel

Great hotel in a good location. lovely wedding venue, spacious and grand. lovely decor, well maintained and staff are really friendly. lovely food.

Attended a wedding reception. staff friendly and organised. food really good and plentiful. the evening buffet was excellent. staff very attentive. room really spacious with everything you need for an over night stay. room included hairdryer, iron and ironing board if needed. breakfast excellent. would certainly stay again

This is a great place to stop when traveling from edinburgh to london. just off the m1. it's a small town with just a few restaurants but also a few hotels. great price. fuel stations nearby as well. i did not have the breakfast buffet. too expensive for the little bit that i eat (eggs). but i've seen it, and it's decent.

Very nice place , staff were friendly and very helpful. just like a little message in the bedroom, enjoy your stay was very nice from the cleaner. martha who was in the bar, was very helpful in saucing us tooth picks. she's a credit to your company . had a lovely wedding party and breakfast was great. thanks paul

We attended an evening wedding reception here very recently and booked a room to stay over. the whole hotel was very clean and lovely decor throughout. the buffet for the evening reception was very good, lots of choice of food, not run of the mill buffet and more than enough for everyone. our room was very good, clean and comfortable and buffet breakfast 10 out of 10. all the staff we talked to and dealt with were very friendly and very helpful but i would just like to particularly mention timi on reception who was very professional but really lovely and approachable and martha who was in the bar that evening. martha was a lovely young girl who was very helpful and smiley, went out of her way to help us and was not put out with my husband's (very friendly) banter (and he can banter!!). your staff are a credit to your hotel. we will certainly return to the holiday inn.
