Locke Park Tower

Fascinating place to visit set in a lovely clean park.

After living in Barnsley the majority of my life , visiting this wonderful green are an in my early years teens 20s 30s.. erm etc.. I finally made the climb to the top !! Was it worth the wait ? You Bet !! The view is breath taking in all directions even the architecture is fabulous when you get up close !! Apparently the Tower is open once per month. No Fee just donations Wow !! Go on Give it ago it's definitely Barnsley Must !!

Great place for a nice walk. Parking is free but can get really busy. Has a small cafe which is dog friendly and a large kids play area. Easy walk with little elevation.
