Real Music Centre

I have been a student with the real music centre literally from the very first day that they opened their doors. i have singing, flute and music theory lessons with their talented, professional and highly qualified tutors. i have also recorded vocal cd's in their recording studio under the watchful, extremely professional and highly experienced eye of their md, and owner, alvin marper. i am also a member of the choir and a founder member of the associated theatre company. the tutors provide excellent tuition suitable for complete novices right through to the more seasoned performer. a willingness to learn is met with dedication, support and tuition that is second to none. the range of services offered are wide and cater to all musical tastes. if you wish to take formal music examinations then these are also facilitated with the added bonus of being able to take your examination at the centre. this is much more positive and supportive, being able to take an exam in a familiar environment, rather than having to go to an external centre. i have also taken several exams with the centre and found it to be a very positive experience. since joining the music centre, my confidence in my abilities has increased which has also had a positive effect on other areas of my life and now sees me performing with the centre, the choir and theatre company on a regular basis. lessons are available 6 days a week and although the centre is very busy (which is understandable given the quality of learning offered), they are flexible and accommodating when it has been necessary to occasionally change the time or day of a lesson. if you have a desire to learn and a passion for music then look no further than the real music centre; once you give it a try you will never look back.

My daughter has been having piano lessons there for nearly 5 years now, and has recently started singing lessons. she loves them both and is doing amazingly. all the staff are friendly and helpful, but helen in particular has gone well beyond the call of duty in giving her extra help for festivals and exams, and indeed for other events not organised by the centre. two years ago she joined the theatre group and it has been a transforming experience for her. previously a very shy child who struggled with classmates in school she now has the confidence to sing solo to strangers. indeed at home she rarely stops! it is a very supportive environment and all newcomers are encouraged to take on more than they could previously imagine. she has made lots of friends and has loved every show she's been a part of. she has also joined the choir and really enjoys singing with them; she loved having the opportunity to perform together at last years coop festival where they headlined. i would fully recommend the centre to anyone.

I have been attending music lessons here for almost 5 years and have loved every minute. the staff are incredibly talented and accomplished and are willing and able to help with all musical requests. i am also a member of the theatre company associated with the centre and really enjoy being able to perform and rehearse with such talented staff and members. the centre is easily accessible and is the best place i have ever been for music and musical theatre tuition.

My two daughters have been students at the real music centre for around three years. in that time they have competed in a number of festivals and achieved a number of awards. real music centre offers a professional service the tutors are to say the least incredibly talented, committed and welcoming. i would recommend real music centre to anyone wanting to develop themselves musically or personally.

Excellent teaching. very hugh standard. very friendly staff. mine was for piano £25 an hour but they teach guitar, flute, sax, singing ++++ very patient. highly recommended
