Absolutely fantastic museum. Really knowledgeable volunteers who talked to us at length about the attraction and Maurice and Fred. There’s a lovely cafe which sells delicious cakes and has outdoor seating for the warmer months. Parking on streets nearby. Small shop selling gifts by local artists. They also regularly have events going on. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Great museum, cafe and staff ☺ telling the story of Darfield and at the same time preserving the memories of Maurice Dobson and Fred Halliday.

A lovely place. Brought back so many memories of childhood. Volunteers were excellent and told the story behind the museum brilliantly.

Really interesting place. The volunteers could not have been more friendly and helpful. They really made the visit great.
