We went to aroma for fathers day and it was understandably busy, but we got in within the hour and the food was fantastic! a wide variety and great selection with something for everyone. the staff could be more attentive but they are doing their best in a busy place and the atmosphere could be less chaotic as you feel quite rushed at times. the overall experience was better than hoped for and honestly the food is great. there is a live kitchen where you can have food prepared before your eyes and the top quality ingredients where really appreciated.
Very child friendly atmosphere, polite and nice waiters and plenty to eat for the whole family. the taste was ok nothing stellar. the teriyaki beef tasted burnt, but the chicken was succulent. choosing the raw ingredients for the teriyaki to be cooked in front of you is a great experience.
Went to aroma on tuesday (2 days ago) just gone with my boyfriend and grandma, and have to say that the atmosphere is just as amazing as it was a couple of years ago when i went before! the staff were lovely and polite with smiling faces, which made us feel welcoming. we had a lovely person show us to our table as well. there's a ton of food, both suitable for vegetarians and meat eaters. i'm personally a vegetarian so i'll be reviewing the vege food in the food review of this post. for the price of £12 from 12pm to 3pm it's a big bargain! and it's even cheaper for kids! it will be more expensive in the evening which is understandable, so price will vary depending on when you go. i also loved the fact that were was a section where you can watch someone cook, like in japan/thailand etc. with the correct traditional equipment which was really interesting to watch! there's also a ton of dessert you can pick from and their ice-cream machine was personally my favourite!
Dropped in on a whim on sunday night around 8pm-ish. obviously it was fairly empty but the service was excellent and the staff polite and efficient. food was plentiful with a good range of choices. the teppenyaki is well worth a shot. it's the standard chinese buffet and exactly what you need when you fancy that kind of food treat👍🏻😊
Visited aroma today for lunch with my daughter, her request, which i wasn’t looking forward to as i had a poor chinese meal last night but i was pleasantly surprised. food was good, lots of choice, they even had a tapenyaki bar were you could pick out what you wanted and they cooked it fresh. the dessert options are great too. we both had bottle water and it only came to £28. amazing value. highly recommended.
