Essex Dog Trainer

Contacted Alex after he was highly recommended to us and we were not disappointed. We have a 20 month old Staffy X who loves to play rough and is extremely invasive of other dog's space. Off the lead recall can be unreliable and with another dog as a distraction is not existent. Alex was knowledgeable, experienced and highlighted areas that needed the work. Could not recommend the 1-2-1 training session enough and after being shown how to handle and approach situations we have left the session feeling excited about the months to come.

Alex gave me so much more confidence in our dog. We had been struggling with our 2 year old german shepherd, but when I had our session with Alex he made things so simple and easy to follow. I am now confident we will get our girl off lead in the future with hard work and consistency. It is the most relaxing walk I have been on with my dog in months. Get in contact with him, he's not like a lot of the other trainers I've met, he's not got the massive ego, or rudeness that some others have had. Just an all round great experience. Hopefully we won't need to be back but if we do, then I have complete faith in Alex to help us out.

Alex is incredible with both animals and the owner who isn't confident at handling their animal. I have a GSD and Alex has been incredibly attentive with what is needed to help me and my dog. His training style is very calm which I have found incredibly hard to source in a dog trainer that is willing to help with a GSD. He is reliable and understanding. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

We have an 18 month old German Shepherd who is reactive to other dogs when on lead. We met Alex at Highlands park on a busy Saturday morning, so lots of other dogs! Alex was amazing - by the end of our session my son was leading Zeus past groups of dogs with no reaction at all!! It was us that needed training as much as it was Zeus and Alex was very patient and gave clear easy to follow instructions. Looking forward to practicing our newly taught skills on much more enjoyable walks. Would definitely recommend him and anyone looking for a trainer should 100% contact Alex, wish we'd found him earlier.

After contacting a few different trainers i found through google i came across Alex after speaking to him on the phone i knew he was just the person i was looking for due to his knowledge on all the subjects i was asking about and his genuine understanding of my situation. I booked angel (my 14 month cockapoo) in for 4 weeks residential training with him and well... it was the best choice i ever made. since shes been back she has been a pleasure to live with shes like a changed dog. we used to have problems walking her on the lead around our local park with her pulling and wanting to play with anything that moved. now my 8 year old daughter can even walk her with no problems at all. also in the house she is much better behaved and has so much better manners. throughout her training i was kept updated with her progress and little videos and photos with also phone calls. when i went back to pick her up Alex was in no rush to just drop and go he actually spent a couple of hours showing me and helping me how to progress and carry on all the training he had put in. i cant recommend Alex enough. thank you
