Holiday Inn

Great value for money. The affordable prices and helpfulness of the staff is what makes us come back every year. As expected, this is not a 5-star hotel, but every time we've visited, the staff has behaved and treated us as if it was exactly that - 5-star.

Excellent staff and room was amazing. Stayed for the first time this weekend with a friend as part of a Leon's Theatre Weekend. Sue the manager in the restaurant was a joy. Her customer service skills were excellent. It was clear to see she loves her job. Working in the industry it was a pleasure to see an employee so happy in their work. Keep it up Sue, we will be back again. Hopefully soon

I took part in a boxing show. The entrance was easily accessible, the staff were helpful and knowledgable. The space for changing during the show was more than adequate and the external garden area was lovely Thank you!

Have been using this hotel for work since covid and would not stay in any other hotel in the area. Hotel is in a good location with food and drink options on your doorstep and a nice park a 5 min walk away. What makes this hotel a must though are the staff, all the staff you encounter are friendly, helpful and efficient. Check in is always quick and stress free, the bar area is pleasant & comfortable and breakfast is always very good. Just hope the hotel can retain the staff as they are what makes a good hotel a great hotel.

Good hotel with clean rooms. Small bar downstairs which is pleasant and a decent breakfast upstairs overlooking the lake. Lots of eating places in walking distance as well as a cinema. Reception staff were nice but some of the other staff were less professionally trained. I thought it was very poor that our room was not cleaned.
