Delhi Akash Indian Takeaway

Was really craving a curry and had forgotten all about this restaurant. I used to eat here all the time when they were over in Laindon shopping centre, and it's great to see the food is as quality as ever! Portion sizes were spot on, you definitely get your monies worth! The keema peas aloo is something I've not tried before and it was fantastic, definitely a new favourite! The madras was very good with a nice heat. The Jalfrezi is probably one of the best I've had! The sauce is thick and chunky just how it should be. The only thing I would say is the chicken was a little tough. Perhaps it's because I'm comparing it to when I make curry at home and use chicken thigh meat. Nonetheless it was all delicious and I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

Would like to give a huge thanks to all the staff at Delhi Akash. The food was absolutely delicious and the best I’ve had in a very long time . I recommend all the dishes I had - Chicken tikka biryani Keema peas aloo Egg rice Chicken tikka naga ( very spicy ) D&A flame grill (chops were so juicy) I finally found a decent place in Basildon and will be sticking with you lot thanks

Always a quick service and the food is delicious! Very friendly staff too. Highly recommended the chicken sizzler, perfectly marinated chicken and the onions that come with it are divine.

I’ve lived in Basildon since Jan and have tried multiple Indian restaurants in the area to the point I gave up with curry. This one here is the best in town. Proper nice blokes running this place. Curry was phenomenal.. me and the mrs both finally enjoyed a more than decent curry tonight and will definitely be returning. Full of flavour. Nicely spiced. Would give 10 stars if I could.
