We visited with a toddler who had a very happy time wandering around and exploring the farm. this is a great little farm park with plenty of play equipment including ride-on tractors scattered around the whole site. pre-book tickets to save on entrance costs. animals are looked after well and staff are mindful of making sure the animals' welfare comes above visitors' wishes. even with lots of school trips on the same day that we visited, it didn't feel too busy and there was certainly a relaxed feel about the day. the tractor ride was approx 10 mins and there is a small soft play area in a barn. there is a giant outdoor inflatable pillow in a sandpit which the toddlers and children enjoyed. it would be nice if there were more benches around especially near the plentiful play equipment so that adults can have a rest while keeping a watchful eye on the children, as being on your feet all day outdoors does make one very weary! we are excited to visit again soon.
Goat yoga!!! this was such a fantastic event, and such a unique idea. nicola was brilliant and we felt so relaxed being outside for the session. the goats were so cute and friendly! i highly recommend goat yoga and will book again in the future.
Had a wonderful time at barleylands today with my three children under 5! we had so many opportunities to feed goats and sheep. lucy was phenomenal with my two eldest boys while feeding the pigs and even let one of them feed the guinea pigs! she shared so much information and was so lovely in the way she spoke to the boys. all other staff were friendly too and we really enjoyed having a picnic at the benches whilst the boys could let off energy at various spaces around the farm. we were still admiring lollipop and her many crowns of hair on the journey home. we will be returning soon!
The whole family really enjoyed it. they particularly loved the glow in the dark section which was a nice surprise. the kids had lots of fun ferrying themselves across the water to get around the course. brillian noah's ark themed crazy golf. i would highly recommend.
We had so much fun at the summer event yesterday! all the usual close ups with the animals including the new baby piglets and baby calf! as well as the amazing foam party and entertainment from skittleman! finished off with a bit of soft play! really recommend checking it out before the end of the summer holidays!
