A friendly atmosphere and helpful staff makes for a nice quiet drink escaping the hustle and bustle of city living quite a surprise to find such a place on the outskirts of London. Also seems linked to the military from its outside mural and interior decoration so possible historic military connections that those interested in such things may wish to research

Lisa is cool beans.. wizard grog will be drunken in only the finest of establishments, thanks for the memories. Wizard grog lest thou not know 1/2 lager, 1/2 cider & 2 shots of sour cherry schnapps

Good vibes, good people, Played pool pool there last week at £1. Then yesterday... Played pool again but it was on a NEW TABLE @1.50. The table is great though. Overall, good place to hung out!

Other than some woman who is always smoking her eCig, it is great. Pool table is new, free on Wednesdays from 8pm to close. Music is great. People are great. Bar staff are great. Televisions all around, clean toilets, vibrant crowd. Nice place to have a drink and relax. Open area too. Still smokers at the entrance exit door though. Overall, good pub.
