Miller & Carter Langdon Hills

Gluten Free Review Me and my partner went here tonight for date night. Our server was Keith who was very helpful. He made sure I knew what was gluten free and the items not in stock. We ordered the Butchers Block shared main. This comes with potatoes mash or greens alongside an onion loaf each and beef dripping sauce. The chef came running out shortly after as forgot to add another bit of steak meant for it haha. Plenty of food for 2. Followed by the gigantic chocolate fudge cake to share. We had our first wedding anniversary dinner there yesterday,what a lovely restaurant,kind service (Tracey) and delicious food. We came in for first time,definetelly will be coming back more. Plus the surrounding of the Langdon hills is charming! Worth visiting 100 %.

Came in for my birthday and had a wonderful time. Our server Tracy was perfect. The food was absolutely beautiful, the beef dripping sauce in particular was amazing! I even got a happy birthday message on my dessert which was a lovely touch. Only slight downside for the atmosphere was the table next to us was 3 lads and they were watching a football match on full blast on their phone and no one said anything to them to turn it down or use headphones. Also the garlic mushrooms were a bit slimy so wouldn't get them again 😅

Our evening started with a very friendly face who led us to our table. Then we met Grace who did not only have a lovely smile but was absolutely brilliant. She was so kind and helpful. The food was delicious and the steak was well cooked. Even the kids enjoyed their meals. Best part was the sticky toffee pudding in my opinion.

My wife and I visited Miller and Carter Langdon Hills Basildon. I asked to move tables twice as I don't like the small tables I didn't feel comfortable. The staff dealt with my request promptly which I can imagine might be frustrating for them. The food was great starters and main the drinks were really nice, great cocktails. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were polite and friendly especially Michael he took good care of us and came across as very friendly and helpful. I had my steak well done and they happily accommodated my request. I would give Michael 5 stars for his service and definitely recommend this venue to friends and family.
