Alexander & Dry Funeral Directors

Losing my wife was the worst moment of my life. Everyone around me was sympathetic and those that had been in a similar situation had their own opinion as to whom I should use for the final arrangements. I have been aware of Alexander and Dry for many years, having passed their offices regularly so I chose to trust them with my Wife. When I spoke to one of your staff she asked if there was anything specific I wanted for the service. Fortunately my wife and I had casually discussed our respective funerals over the years. she was able to make those ideas a reality. I was pleased at the level of control I had, the layout of the Order of service, the music and even the horse drawn carriage my late wife had dreamt of. At every stage she was able to advise and assist without ever once sounding like a salesperson. Obviously there is nothing I can offer by way of comparison, as this is the only time I have ever used a Funeral Director’s services but I can genuinely say that the service provided couldn’t have been bettered. Thank you.

Couldn't have asked for a better funeral place than Alexander and dry . Jo and the team. helped me through my father's funeral 6 months ago December 2021and my partners funeral may 2022. My parents had funeral plans with dignity. Having contacted Alexander and Dry to organise my father's funeral I was familiar with the procedure. Sadly my mum passed away in 2022. Alexander and Dry made the entire process so much easier. Jo was super helpful. She collected mum's body with a colleague and she was my contact throughout the entire process. We had a beautiful coffin for my mum covered in painted violet flowers. It was very pretty and suited mum's personality. The funeral itself was lovely and everything ran smoothly. I was very happy with Alexander and Dry, I thought their costs were reasonable and the service was friendly and helpful.
