We did (or rather my husband did) play the par 3 9 hole golf course. it was great value at £5 and looked like a good course for beginners. well kept and clean with bins around it. we then went to do knight quest mini golf but then it was peak time for families. it looked fun but two adults against 50 children seemed a bit of a drag!
The staff are very helpful and friendly. i visited for the knights of the realm crazy golf, which was charming, entertaining and accessible. i’d recommend this for all ages. makes for a great activity.
I use the driving range. it's on. it's not particularly cheap vs other ranges, and the mats etc are pretty worn. on the upside they have added some features recently which is nice. no bags are allowed jn the bays/range for reasons unknown, which makes it annoying to have to carry things. all in all its a missed opportunity
I went here with my 6 year old son for a treat over half term. we hadn't played crazy golf before so was looking forward to it. to be honest it was really good fun and we did enjoy it but for the money it was really expensive. to do one round which is all you get only took about 30 minutes tops and for the £16or £17 odd it cost for the two of us, there are a lot better options around for that sort of money that will last longer. all in all it was a fun experience we hadn't done before but probably wouldn't go again. if money is no object which to most people it is now then i'd recommend it but if you are on a budget and looking for something to do with the kids for a while look elsewhere.
The covered driving range has plenty of bays and targets distanced for all but the longer hitters - 250+. the mats are a little on the hard side. you are not allowed to take your golf bag onto the range so it is a bit of a handful having to carry your clubs by hand.
