Village Hotel Basingstoke

Great place. Would absolutely stay at one again. The whole glass wall for the bathroom is strange. It does fog, but you can still see and it's glass so you can definitely hear everything. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning is worth it, in my opinion. Would stay here again.

Food =good Room=good But.. found the building was shaking up in our room. Spent an hour trying to work out what it was to find out it was the gym 3 floors lower, one of the weight machines.stopped around 10.30pm luckily ,but restarted about 6am . Not great waking up to an earthquake. This was actually quite distressing for the first few seconds of waking up. Also found the switchable smoked glass on the bathroom a bit odd. Had some funny toilet moments with it though so not complaining .

I recently stayed at village hotel Basingstoke and I must say that it was a great experience. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was comfortable with all the amenities I needed. The food was delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Service was brilliant tonight at the bar and grill, I went for dinner with my husband to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary and every member of staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Walking into the hotel itself main reception staff were kind and welcoming. We will definitely be returning.
