Service & Communication very inadequate. We used Philips having previously used the firm they have incorporated with, hoping the experience would be the same. I use a range of solicitors regularly for business so have some idea of service expectations and timings/communication. Our last experience at Philips was ended by us having been ongoing without ANY progress since the end of May 22 - We chased numerous times and were promised that things would start moving but nothing changed. This was for a simple ongoing issue related to a house purchase so nothing too complex. Most concerning and frustrating is the arrogant stance and lack of any ongoing apology or concern for the poor service levels we highlighted.

I decided to youse Phillips Solicitors as after getting a few quotes they were reasonably priced and the reviews were great. I must say I wasn't disappointed, Trish was fantastic throughout, she didn't sit on anything, responded quickly and ensured everything needed to be done was done. She was very friendly, helpful and without a doubt made this whole process much easier for me. If you're a first time buyer I would definitely recommend using this Solicitor. Recommended solicitor firm by Berkeley Homes for a house purchase in 2020. Absolutely terrible communication and had to email multiple times for a response. Don’t think I ever saw the results of some of the searches they were meant to be doing

One of the worst and most harrowing experiences of my life choosing Gill Brown to help me at a difficult time. First question was how much money I had and then she milked me for it. Then she started working for the other party and got me nothing in the form of justice. I did not believe it when people said that solicitors are the worst but now I do. Never again! I was 100% your client and you can check Gill's records. Terrible response. Very unethical.
