Coco's Nails

Been here a few times now, but had multiple bad experiences including being cut on my first visit and today was the last straw. The lady doing my nails acted like she was doing me the biggest favour and huffed and puffed throughout and clearly ranted to her colleagues about me because I changed my mind about the colour after she asked if I was happy with the colour and giving me the choice to change my mind. She ignored me during appt and once it was over, took my money and didn’t say thanks for coming etc despite me saying thank you so much etc when leaving. I won’t be coming back to Cocos. I don’t think some of the staff realise kindness is free. It seems from other reviews the customer service is getting worse which is sad as it’s a nice enough salon and very convenient for me.

Been coming for over a year and sadly I have noticed an incline in the quality of work, my acrylics done this week are an odd shape on the surface and almost dip in the middle - felt like a rushed job. These were for my wedding at the weekend and are possibly the worst set I’ve had done at coco’s, will likely pay out again now to get them redone elsewhere, such a shame as used to recommend to all my friends.

Hands down the best Nails Salon in Basingstoke. I have been coming here for a few years now and my nails always came out perfect. They always do such a good job on my nails and feet can't fault it at all. Would never go anywhere else.

Thank you Coco Nails. My nails look fantastic as always. The last time I went to the shop, I was served by a very gentle man. He was calm, professional and quick. The result was great. Will definitely come back.

Overall it was an ok experience. Despite having an appointment, it felt a bit rushed, and I noticed after getting home that there was quite a lot of excess acrylic on the underneath of a few of the nails. The nail polish also didn't cover the full tips of most of the nails, so the acrylic could be seen a little. I wasn't asked about the order of colours I wanted (I had pastel rainbow colours) and my social anxiety meant I didn't feel comfortable asking for her to change it after she had already started with the first colour, which meant I didn't quite end up with the nails I wanted. They were nice enough though, and I would probably use them again if absolutely necessary but will be sticking with my usual nail salon where possible in future.
