Faultless service and, quite simply, the way it should be done. The most thorough sight test I have ever had, resulting in the best Varifocal lenses I have ever had. A second set of Varifocal lenses was made free of charge, which I had made as sun glasses. (Only the tint to pay for). They are a genuine Rayban dealer and supplied my second frame at half price. For many years I have used Vision Express. Not only is Prime considerably better value but also the care and service makes the nationwide multiple look like amateurs. As for the wholly unfair 1 star review below....You can not cut corners with Varifocals. A couple of millimetres out in the lens cutting or positioning can render them useless. If you buy Varifocals from cheapycheapyspecs.com you are asking for problems. These guys are total professionals and now have my loyalty.

I needed to see an optician within 48hrs for an issue with my sight. I didn't need a test. Boots were booked up so I tried a few others and Prime had a slot I could make. I tried booking online but I could not finish the task. The 'Confirm' button did nothing! I went into town anyway to find another, but since I was passing Prime I knocked on their door at 08:53 (09:00 opening) and was told they are not open. (I gathered that by the 'CLOSED' sign on the door). I mentioned the issue online and it was dismissed out of hand. Then I was told the optician would not be in until 09:30. The woman in this branch (Basingstoke) was curt to the point of being rude. I went to boots and they had a cancellation later on in the day. Never going to Prime again!
