Happy Tails Grooming

Took my son's girlfriends Pomeranian here for her monthly groom which I often look after during the week. It's a busy grooming service with plenty going on, so you're think a small Pomeranian would be nervous about going in. Not one bit, pup couldn't wait to get in and ran off to go play with the owners own dogs. I'd dropped her off early and they looked after her until her appointment. On my return, she didn't want to leave. Such a fantastic service from a local home based business. A home based business that during these current testing conditions we need to continue to support. Great customer service and they really care about your beloved pet. You won't be disappointed by the standard of the grooming service either. Our pup cane back washed, cut and smelling lovely complete with a little bow to finish off. First rate service from lovely people. So please continue to support local businesses, give Happy Tails a call, the clue is in the name. You'll be wagging yours too when you get your pet back. I don't know how they do it for the reasonable rates they charge. (I did suggest the wife goes there for her next haircut. Let's just say, the pup now has my side of the bed, and I'm in the doghouse)

Took my dog Dara there today for the first time and I am well impressed on the job they have done so well done to everyone at happy tails. X

hands down these guys are the best groomers in Basingstoke. I have gone to many different groomers since having my year old pup and Happy Tails are the first ones who actually listen to your requests and go above and beyond to do what you ask! Example, today I took my pup in with quite (very!) bad matting of his fur and although the lovely staff said they might have to shave him, when I went to collect him he was fluffy and furry as ever! I know its such long and painful job to complete such a task so thank you to everyone at the groomers. If you want a decently priced, helpful groomers WHO ACTUALLY LISTEN then look no further!!

Not just an excellent groomers that always makes our Mini Schnauzer look and smell fantastic but over the many years have picked up and taken the time to show and explain things they have found while grooming her. They clip her nails. She has had her teeth cleaned. She was suffering with ear infections and they were happy to see her just to have her ear hair plucked and cleaned without a full grooming appointment, no more ear infections. They are even happy to use specialist shampoo for her dry skin. I wish I had given my review and 5 stars ages ago but today I was once again reminded just how amazing they really are. Today after her groom we were advised our baby had harvest mites in her paw. I had never heard of harvest mites it would seem they aren’t eliminated by the usual back of the neck spot on treatment like fleas and ticks are. Denise explained everything to us and gave us the name of a treatment. We called our vet who had the spray treatment recommended available so went to pick it up straight away. The vet told us Harvest mites are quite rare around Basingstoke especially at this time of year with the weather being so dry and we were incredibly lucky to have such a vigilant, knowledgeable and responsible groomer. I couldn’t agree more. Thank you, Denise and team Happy Tails you are absolutely the best.

Very good service. Professional people, who manage to groom our dog, (a toy poodle) perfectly. She can be a little madam, but they are so good with her. The owner has quite a few Poodles, so she knows this particular breed well. With all the dogs around that are cross-breeds, loads that are part Poodle, this is a great place to go. Obviously they do all breeds, but I only have experience of a Poodle.
