Have a dog that needs walking, come here. Or, on the A303/M3 to London with screaming kids, stop here and have them run about for 10 mins. It's better than crashing.

Good place for a walk with the family and pets. Small-ish car park so get there early. I can imagine it'll get busy mid-day. Nice play area for kids. Wellies or walking shoes recommended.

Very good place to go for a walk in the woods, massive area for ball games as well.

Lovely forest area south lots to explore. A well maintained playground and big open field as well as a large pond area with an abundance of wildlife. I highly recommend for a day out with the kids.
