I spent £45 on an fish and chips and sausages and chips All the fish and sausages were greasy and soggy when a chef orders takeout he expects it to be good U can’t call it battered sausage and chips and fish and chips when the batter is soggy and greasy Don’t recommend when I phoned the supposedly chef moaned and ask me to bring the half eaten food back and she would inspect implying she didn’t believe what her customer was saying My son order the kebab and burger the bun was soggy and the meat was cold That cost £15 it’s all well and good saying the kebab is good but it is a fish and chip shop not a kebab shop if that is all they can do right they should stick to kebabs Won’t be returning ever waited 15 mins for fish and chips and another 25 minutes for a kebab and burger Not on wouldn’t recommend better going to the blue rickshaw in Whitchurch less of a wait too If I could leave no stars I would Jonathan

Not great at all, had plaice and chips, more batter than fish which was soggy and yuk, and chips were cold old weird bits wrapped up with chips between the wraps also, that got missed probably while rushing, and just gross. Should actually take one of those stars away but can't now in the app. Staff were friendly tho, cost just over 12 quid

That wasn't a large cod it was a whale ! Delicious too. Chicken was tasty and moist. Plenty of chips for two in large portion. Excellent meal.

Last time I bought fish and chips from Mariners they were lovely hence my return. However today my complete order was awful (except for 2 battered sausages). Both portions of cod were equivalent to 2x two fish fingers in lots of greasy batter. The chips were cold and chewy and ended in the bin. I think all the food had been sat around for hours. I won't be going there again. So the food didn't go to waste our poor cat ended up eating the scraps :o/
