Wimpy

Had an amazing time. The mozzarella sticks and chicken was to DIE for. All the staff were super friendly and attentive. Our server Katie was amazing and really made our whole trip!

Service was excellent, the staff and manager were friendly and prompt. I liked my milk shake but the others I was with didn't like their food.

Food was reasonably priced, staff were good but definitely not 100% clean the table was sticky and there were small flys

If only 0 stars was an option… I don’t know where to begin with this place. I was stood at the front of the restaurant waiting to be seated, there must of been about 5 members of staff not actively doing anything just stood around having a laugh whilst there was a queue of customers waiting to be seated. After about 5 minutes of waiting finally I was seated… Only to find crumbs and dollops of ketchup all over the seats and tables.I asked to move and the waiter was huffing and puffing saying “what’s wrong with this seat “. The waiter then cleared off for another 10 minutes before I was even offered a drink (this is a very quiet time of day). Once eventually served the Waiter was extremely rude and abrupt I have never felt so un welcomed in a restaurant, I’ve had better customer experiences at McDonalds. As for the food, took forever, had to ask for cutlery (twice) which was dirty, was not offered any condiments or sauce (luckily there was some ketchup all over the tables and chairs from the table across from me ) food was cold and presented so poorly it looked like it had been put together by a 4 year old, and throughout the entirety of my meal I had to listen to crude and inappropriate conversation from several staff members. I also used the toilets after which were in awful condition and looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. Up there with one of the worst customer experiences I have EVER HAD, and I’ve had some bad ones. Whoever is running the operation in this place needs to sort it out, absolutely dreadful. AVOID WIMPY IN BASINGSTOKE.

Nice decor, and clean place in general. Pleasantly surprised to find out they have all-day breakfast, including veggie options....but let down because service was incredibly slow. We had to wait about 25mins for 2 veggie breakfasts, which is unacceptably long. Many other customers visibly upset too. Asked a server about the delay, she said it's because they have some new chefs and waiters.
