Mark and Seb did a great job with their thoughtful modernist extension to our cottage. They responded to our own ideas and needs, but went well beyond what we imagined at the start. We're now working on our second project with them.

For many years we unsuccessfully pursued the idea of a modern garden extension to our listed Georgian building in Widcombe. In 2017 we approached Mark Wray and his assistant Seb who obtained planning consent for a beautiful extension, subsequently credited as the 'BANES Building Control 2018 Design Quality Award Winner for Domestic Extension’. We worked with Mark Wray Architects to redesign two floors of our house and a very steep garden on multiple levels. Mark and the team were great to work with - they spent a lot of time with us sketching various options to best meet our brief and helped us come up with the final design together. The team worked with us, the surveyors, engineers and builders throughout the process and were always on hand to help with any queries around materials, measurements and conducted frequent quality checks. We feel very lucky every time we go into our new kitchen, and couldn't be happier with the high quality touches that are inherent in the design.
