People in bike shops can be really unfriendly and in some places I've been they look down on me as being ignorant to the science of cycling and what's new in the equipment front. This shops is the exact opposite and the people who work there are so friendly it's incredible; and they weren't hamming it up because I was buying a £5000 bike (I wish...) -- that's just how they are. I was only there to get a cover for my Brompton but they chatted away for ages as if I was the only customer in the world. Not only do they sell (and service) Bromptons but they also have the legendary Moultons -- surely the best bikes made in UK. They have the usual range of mountain and electric bikes too and a spacious workshop. Most interesting thing about this place is the fact that it's located in what would have once been a dingy, damp, rubbish-filled railway arch. As Arnie says "I'll be back".

I ordered a Cannondale Treadwell 2 online. Emailed them to see if it will be tuned up when its delivered to me in Salford. They replied straight away saying it would be. I'm happy to say it was. I couldn't be more happier with the bike.

Called Saturday 18th Feb around midday, Needed to replace saddle on Town bike so rang to see if I could call in, select a suitable replacement and leave bike with them to be fitted. Assured shouldn’t be a problem. Arrived circa 15:15 and left 15:25 with a nice new saddle all fitted at no extra charge. Great service AVC !

Fantastic shop, 5* service. Staff are very friendly and keen to help! Very knowledgeable workshop with experienced mechanics. Great range of bikes, from cargo electric to pimpy road bikes and everything in between. Nice selection of accessories too. 100% recommended!

Called Avon Valley Cyclery to confirm availability of a specific Cannondale step through for my wife to see . Spoke initially to Harry who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable . We decided to visit the store from over the water in sunny Newport , nothing was too much trouble for both Luke and Harry . Bike was test ridden and then the sale was complete ! Collected 24 hours later and my wife is super happy. These guys are a credit to the company. Thank you , Phil & Tracy
