Bill's Bath Restaurant

I've been to other Bills that have not been half as good as this one. We were a fairly large sized party of 7 and we were tended to excellently. Every time our water jug was empty, someone refilled it without having to ask. The food was great and came out fast. Lots of staff around so had anything been wrong, we'd have found it easy to get someone's attention. We were being served by a tall young guy with a very deep voice and he was great. Excellent service.

I feel like the menu doesn’t have much to choose from otherwise it would’ve been more stars, maybe expand it? Little expensive, spent £100 for 5 people, only 4 of us had burger and chips, and a another 1 different meal as seen in picture, and 1 dessert at the end. I was very surprised to see the bill at the end to be honest.

Bill’s was a great place for a quick lunch and a beer. Though cocktails and liquor can get quite expensive, food and service both are really great. The place offers both outdoor and indoor seating, both of which have completely unique vibes. I chose to sit outside and service was great here too. I had the classic burger with fries. Though the the meat was slightly under seasoned, the burger tasted great. Definitely recommend.

A nice looking place for brunch was let down by the standard of food. We ordered scrambled eggs on toast and pancakes with bacon & maple syrup . The eggs were weird and rubbery and the pancakes very dry with very hard pieces of bacon. Clearly both dishes had been left sitting for a while before coming to our table, a bit of a disappointment to say the least. When eating out is becoming more expensive I don’t understand why people don’t get it right. For a far better eating experience at less cost you can visit “ The Ivy” in Bath and the top up drinks are included.

Excellent overall, welcoming, friendly and attentive staff who couldn't do enough for us. The food was excellent, we had starters, main and dessert and thoroughly enjoyed all. We highly recommend and would visit again.
