E Hooper & Son Funeral Directors

E Hooper & Son recently directed my Mother's funeral. I wish to say that all of their staff, from the director and arranger to the bearers and hearse driver, were utterly professional and sympathetic. They all helped to add a sense dignity and respect to such a sad occasion. The organisation of this event was made so much less difficult by the help and support that was given to myself and family by everybody at Hoopers and all I can say to them is thank you.

For what is a very difficult thing to experience in losing someone you love, Karen and her team at E Hooper & Son Funeral Director in Bath took the load off our shoulders Karen from the outset made the experience feel so personal and privileged you felt your family was in safe hands for that next step forward which is always so painful She kept us up to date with proceedings and nothing was too much trouble in sorting what we hoped to achieve in making Dad’s funeral a positive, loving experience as much as possible Dad knew a bit about funerals, hard not to when he was Mr Hooper and a funeral director for most of his life, but he met Karen a few times and watched her work even though long retired. He thought she was a very good funeral director and as his daughter I know if he actually voiced that, it was high praise indeed So thank you Karen and your team for your caring. Jodie and the team at Hoopers were very considerate, understanding and professional in their dealings with us. Their communication either by phone or email was excellent. Nothing was too much for them especially when we changed the content of the service booklet several times. I do not hesitate in highly recommending them.

Karen and the team were simply fantastic. Everything they did was with dignity and empathy. My father’s funeral was the best we could give him and a large part of that was thanks to this team. When the inevitable happens to my Mum, we’ll be back here. Thanks again to all the team
