Apex City of Bath Hotel

Great hotel, service is good. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is good. Love the sauna and steam rooms. Kids had fun using the pool. Location is so convenient. Will come back!

Beautiful modern hotel centrally located in Bath. It is close to major attractions in Bath & restaurants Love the friendly front desk staff at check-in, got upgraded to a bigger room Plus Vip complimentary drinks. Surprised with happy birthday sweets in room. Very comfortable beds plus excellent A/C in rooms. Love their swimming with jets to massage our bodies plus sauna & steam rooms. We had a very enjoyable stays for 2 nights for my birthday celebration. Highly recommended this hotel for others who visit Bath in the future.

Great hotel! Clean spacious rooms, with all the extras you could need. Although we came as a couple, it is family friendly, which is nice to see. Breakfast covered all bases and above all, was really tasty. Leisure facilities are excellent - meaning you can spend an hour relaxing before going out for the day! Sauna, steam room, ice bucket and shower experiences - extras I didn't expect! Location is central and staff polite and super helpful 👍

Great hotel, lovely clean rooms with separate bath and shower, the pool and sauna/steam room is a great added extra for a city break but not as a spa break. You have to book an hour slot although it was never an issue and was never particularly busy. 10 min walk to the station, windows didn't open as they looked out over the main road but the AC was amazing. Really comfortable bed too, room equipped with everything you need and even a fridge with still & sparkling water. My only recommendation would be to put spa robes and flip flops in all the rooms as many other places do so you don't have that awkward walk back to your room in a towel. Will be returning, thank you to all the friendly team too!

This hotel was decent enough. The staff were pleasant and welcoming (especially the restaurant and bar staff). Reception staff could be a little friendlier as they are the first faces most guests see. The main qualm about the hotel was the lack of attention to detail with cleanliness and hygiene. In the communal areas, the walls in the hallways were all scuffed. The floor in the elevator was grubby and not clean. My room wasn’t much better. The carpet was stained in multiple places with big blotches. The sheets were also stained in a couple of spots. Upon arriving there were hairs from previous guests in the bed and lots in the shower. I don’t think they really clean between guests but instead just replace the refreshments. Pretty disappointing considering the nightly rates they charge. It was pleasant enough due to its location and the facilities but I won’t be back.
