Hondo Sushi

Great little restaurant next door to an Asian supermarket...... The food was authentic and very very tasty. I only remembered to take the picture after I crushed the raw egg which was lovely.... Next to me were several people eating Japanese sushi and it all looked very, very appetising and I just wish I had a larger appetite. But certainly this is worth a second trip back.......

Terrific food, wonderfully presented. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The worst part about eating here is the vast selection means making a choice is really hard! Worth popping in the supermarket the is twinned with the restaurant on your way out also. Will be coming again!

It would be a good place for Korean/Japanese cuisine in reasonable price and quality. I ordered Korean style Bibimbap and Vegetable Tempura. The food presentation is ok. The batter of tempura is a bit thick. However, the food portion is generous. In my second visit with friends, they ordered Teriyaki Chicken Bento and Salmon Bowl. They commented that they are quite good.

The food was very fresh and tasty. Good selection for both meat/fish eaters and vegetarians, and good selection of sushi and hot food. Highly recommend the spring rolls as a starter! Would recommend booking before you go as it can get busy

First time going out to eat sushi at a restaurant and it did not disappoint, was greeted really nicely the customer service was on point, you get the food at different times so just wait until everything gets there before eating with friends tho I’m sure you would be able to ask for everything at the same time The presentation was immaculate I will say eating raw fish for the first time was quite strange I recommend if you haven’t eaten raw fish before be prepared for a whole different experience and texture sea bass is the slimiest haha It was amazing other than that and I’m sure if you come here frequently you will get used to eating raw fish
