Portofino Oyster Bar & Mediterranean Restaurant

My girlfriend and I had a lovely time here! Friendly staff, very warm on a snowy day and excellent food. I had the mixed seafood pasta, and my girlfriend had the muscle pot! Food tasted great and the negroni was nice too. We came here after being turned away by the rude staff at “dough” and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. I recommend this restaurant very highly and this may have been our best meal in our month in the UK so far!

Surprisingly yummy, especially in a very windy and cold day. The seafood dishes they served are sooo good and I cannot stop eating until I finish them all!

It's been our second visit to Portofino and we really enjoyed it. + good selection of seefood, fast and professional service. Delicious bread, oysters, Fish and octopus. We will definitely come back and strongly recommend this place. - Slightly strange that chef serving grilled octopus with little pot of sweet chilli sauce in my opinion they don't much. Opposite way my "day special" Red. Mullet came without any sauce, so I have to ask some tartar. Overall food quality and portion sizes are very good! Thank you

Awesome food, spacious dinning area, and the staff are just attentive and caring. Oysters are fresh the grilled octopus are great appetizers. Portions for mains are generous and I must recommend the half lobster and whole crab (they are on Today’s Special on our visit on 23rd July).
