Cleckheaton Golf Club

Very pleasant round of golf on a beautiful day. The greens were true but could have been cut shorter. The on course water fountain doesn't accommodate filling of your own bottle and is on the front nine. Superb steak pie served up after the game. I didn't check out the practice facility but it does look excellent.

Can't give it a true star rating yet as all four seasons came in 1 day. If you don't like a few hills you won't like this course. Some very challenging holes and card wreckers. Greens were in good condition to say how bad the weather had been. Need to go back in the summer.

We took our older people's group for Christmas lunch (47 of us). It was superb in every way, the food was perfect, the service was outstanding, and everyone enjoyed it. I definitely recommend it. It was great value for money, too.
