Batley Butterfly House

lovely environment and very friendly volunteers who were informative, my daughter loved it. happy with my spider plant (not pictured) for a very good price. my partner held a few insects and loved the experience

The 2 ladies that are there are amazing, I took a 4 year old and a 2 year old and they were so patient with the kids and really took time to explain the insects to them. It's only a small place so only takes maybe 4 minutes to go round it but it is amazing. You can purchase plants there for a small donation.

Not sure how it can be called a Butterfly House, as it had no butterflies. I am very aware that many breeds are not out yet, but we do have some butterflies in our garden. …
