The walls are paper thin. i could literally hear the man in the room next to me pull up his zipper. the room lacks proper blackout curtains so in summer light sneaks in early. noise from the square below continued until midnight most nights. construction or something started around 7. the room has no air conditioning which you wouldn't think would be a problem in belfast, but i found the room uncomfortably hot. the staff were entirely pleasant and efficient and adequate for the price point. the wifi was pretty solid. the room key is still a physical key.
Rooms have no fans. windows do open thankfully. bathroom is very sparse. small television. if you're looking for a bed to sleep in convenient to city center, this works. we won't return though.
Pleasant and clean room, comfortable bed with two pillows each. it was very quiet. good shower. kettle provided. no hairdryer in room, though i didn't mind that. the top floor or two have decent views, though those below may have a darker experience thanks to the empty building next door. a locked luggage storage room is available for use which was so helpful for us after checkout when we were exploring more until the evening. great cebtral location and very close to the europa bus centre.
It was a nice stay. we stayed for 4 nights. the room that was given to us had a great view. it was over the trees but looking over buildings but that wasn't so bad for me. they had standard tv, water heater with a few complimentary coffee and tea. hand soap and body wash/shower gel were already in their bathroom dispenser. the room was a little bit old school. the carpet was probably clean to the naked eye. there was a tub under the shower(bath). 4 hangers only. no air conditioner so you might want to reconsider this when booking though there were 5 windows on our room so it was enough (and not currently summer during our stay). location is great as it is near almost everything. it is near the crown pub if you're going there and having some drinks. 2 streets distance from belfast city hall. the staff is great and nice.
