Nora's Palace

The food was amazing,the kofta tasted original,the salad ( fatoush) fresh . the serve was excellent too.

Lamb mandi was really good. the meat pretty much fell off the bone it was so soft! the kunafa was also really good. we met the owner and she was so nice! awesome atmosphere for family. however if you prefer fast food then she also has a takeaway across the street which is also very good.

Nora’s palace is a mix of middle eastern and egyptian food, i usually love middle eastern so bad high hopes. the staff were friendly and service was quick. we got a mixed grill for 1 and the lamb chops. the mixed grill was big and could serve 2 people if you’re not super hungry, all the meat was cooked perfectly, it also came with a portion of rice and some sauces. the lamb chops however weren’t actually chops, most of them were ribs and very fatty at that. if i had known they were ribs we would have ordered something else. would say it’s worth trying out, but maybe just go for the mixed grill!

Absolutely amazing food! we discovered nora's palace last week, after seeing a show in the grand opera house. it was well after 10pm, but nora's palace was still serving food. we visited them yesterday for the second time and we will definitely be back this friday () to see the show of the egyptian dancer. james, the manager, was vary friendly and accommodating. waiting staff was amazing, attentive, friendly with kids, giving great recommendations and answering all questions about the food. food is delicious, fresh, flavoursome and beautifully presented. we were treated to an extra dessert on the house - it was a lovely gesture by tariq and james. the restaurant is bring your own - so you can dine there with your children until late in the evening - it is a great advantage! opened in december, after a success of nora's palace take away, which had been established in 2012 and is just round the corner. great location, delicious food, great hospitality. hallah food and plenty vegetarian options!
