Don't get me wrong the food is not bad, it's not a taco bell. but it's hardly astounding either and when we are talking about tacos you have to ask yourself the question, do i really want to pay these prices for an ok taco. drinks were nice, staff and atmosphere was good but i won't be coming back for dinner.
Staff fantastic...friendly, helpful and welcoming. food fresh and tasty with plenty of options all cooked perfectly. the pork bites and chicken wings were a tasty starter, the grilled corn lovely, and the beef and lamb tacos really tasty as well. the crispy baby potatoes the only real disappointment, having to ask for a side of hot sauce. good cocktails too. only fault is that mexican food is traditionally cheap and in danger of being made too fancy. £7 for corn, and £11 for two tacos, to my mind makes this a pricey meal for fairly basic ingredients.
One of the best places we’ve ate and best service we’ve had in a long time. the food is super tasty, great range of gluten free options and the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. plus the cocktails were incredible. will definitely be back and would 100% recommend.
Really happy to see somewhere like cú open up in belfast. the food was great, the service was really friendly and the overall vibe was chill. however, i think the starter sizes need to change. at our table we ordered the black bean hummus and the scallops, both were really tasty but the sizing didn't seem right. there was almost too much hummus which filled us up quite early on leaving no space for dessert. if there had been a smaller starter i would have definitely been ordering dessert. very much a me issue but could be an opportunity to get more dessert orders in. anyways, make sure to order one of the cocktails and get the sweet potato fries!
