Jonny really helped me with my shoulder injury and the pain has now completely gone away. going to physio performance sped up my recovery time without a doubt and i cannot recommend jonny enough for his professionalism.
Went to physio performance after seeing another physio and feeling i wasn’t being advised right. jonny spotted the issue in minutes of an assessment and gave some straightforward advice and plan to get back fully recovered. very precessional and knowledgeable
I took up running and general fitness in august 2022 and after a decent start i was struggling with pain and injuries which kept setting me back. i visited jonny who assessed my injuries and was able to advise on a stretch and strengthening programme to alleviate the pain, and hopefully keep it away. after carrying out the at home stretches and doing the strengthening exercise's in the gym the pain has left, i am feeling much stronger throughout, and i am smashing personal records at my running and recently completed my first 10k which seemed impossible a few months ago. i am aiming to go further in the not too distant future. this wouldn't have been possible without jonnys treatments and guidance. i fully recommend him to anyone, and if i have any problems in future i will be visiting his very comfortable, and clean clinic again (although hopefully i wont need too).
A really great service from jonny at physio performance! i needed some support with a small but persistent knee issue i had experienced over a decade! made worse only recently when i tried to get back into hiit sessions, maybe a little too quickly since taking a break! i explained during my first session that i attempted to seek physio years previous for the same problem, but wasn't really given the help needed to identify the reasons. jonny couldn't have been helpful and i was instantly at ease working with him. a great first session; jonny worked with me to check things over and help identify likely causes - importantly ruling out the horrid tendon or ligament issues i had convinced myself of before arriving. the first session was really informative and i was helped to understand how the knee was working. i was sent off with a short training programme that would help build strength and increase flexibility in various areas of the legs. i followed the programme and after about 3 weeks i started to find a reduction in pain i had been experiencing, so i took confidence in what was happening and i felt jonny had me on the right track. a second session helped confirm things were improving. i took to heavier lifting squats to see how the knees were holding up under weight, and got some great pointers on my form that continued to help me identify what i had been doing wrong and how it was most probably contributing to that original problem. have to say it's been a mindset change visiting physio performance and i got a better sense of building strength and creating flexibility focus in my training. thanks so much jonny! i would recommend highly and would reuse in an instant!
I had a bad fall on a night out and after being told by the hospital that nothing was broken and that i had to wait a month for nhs physio i decided to go private. my first session with jonny kelly he immediately could tell i had a fractured hip and told me to go back to hospital and ensure they x-ray my hip. x-ray and ct scan showed that my hip was indeed fractured. after two months in a wheelchair i was told i was able to begin physio i decided to go back to physio performance. with the continued help of jonny kelly i am now back weight training and fully recovered. could not recommend more and if i have any muscle or pain problems in the future i will be using them again without hesitation.
