It was great on a monday night, not too crowded and got a great seat with friends by the live music and fire place! and the jameson christmas tree for the holidays is pretty cool!
Visited yardbird yesterday after it being on my 'to do list' for sometime and i was not disappointed. very busy when we arrived...1.30pm...but luckily they had space for us at the bar area. the waitress was friendly and chatty and drinks were with us in minutes. i ordered the spicy burger with fries, the burger was amazing!. recommend the awsome sauce i think it was called, like a spicy garlic mayo. we then went down stairs to the dirty onion bar for a couple of drinks, quite busy but served quickly and nice friendly atmosphere.
Waitress explained gluten free options on the menu. had the loaded fries and, although a little cold for my liking, they were lovely. great atmosphere too. toilets lovely 😊
Staff were brilliant and even gave me recommendations on what sights to see whilst i'm in belfast. food was incredibly quick but also super yummy, the small wings were more than enough for one person, will be going again on my next visit!!
The dirty onion and yard bird and the decor make you think the bar has been there for a hundred years. the location has but as part of the cathedral quarter it has new life and certainly has plenty of atmosphere about it. well worth a visit and you can have a great night. sometimes events like whisky tasting and are very enjoyable and informative .
